Chef Danny Pinder was born and raised in the energetic & multicultural city of gold, Johannesburg, South Africa. Danny graduated from HTA School of Culinary Arts, in 2012, top of his class! With a thirst and hunger to travel, Danny set off to wander the four corners of the earth. His path so far has led him to cook in the dessert, on the sea & in the air as a First-Class Private Chef. He recently returned from living on a self-sustainable permaculture farm in Costa Rica, where he learnt the importance of sustainable agriculture practices and gained valuable experience growing & working with natural health-conscious ingredients of the freshest and finest quality. Danny believes the Art of cooking is when you mix craftsmanship at the highest level with creativity, transforming simple raw ingredients into dishes of distinction. Danny brings a unique touch and vibrant energy into the Galley, filled with enthusiasm and passion, seasoned with professionalism, and sprinkled with a great sense of humour. With the finest ingredients and simple execution his goal onboard is to tantalize your taste buds forever leaving you wanting more. Danny enjoys remote hiking, trail running, long distance road running and camping outdoors. During his off season you will find him on hammock near the beach reading his book, sipping on coconut water, savouring
the flavours of life.
